A good place for breakfast

It's been several years since Mr. Ed's closed and we lost a great, close, breakfast place. But, we are pleased to announce that Papi's is now serving breakfast just one block away. They have been operating for about a year and have a good pizza and pasta menu for lunch and dinner. Walla Walla has great places downtown but you may end up waiting a while for a table and we can recommend Papi's newly remodeled restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. Try it out next time you come.

Step inside and you'll immediately notice the bold, modern paint scheme featuring a striking blue accent and wallpaper that creates a welcoming, contemporary vibe. Soft lighting from stylish fixtures brightens every corner, making the space feel warm and inviting.

Unwind in style on the new reclining love seat (perfect for kicking back after a long day), paired with a sleek bistro set ideal for enjoying a meal, or just sipping your morning brew. We've added a convenient folding desk for those who need floor space or do some work, plus an upgraded closet area to keep everything organized.

Start your day right with the in-room K-cup coffee maker stocked with premium pods – Hawaiian Blend and more – along with cups, creamers, and stir sticks. No need to head out for that first cup!

Entertainment is upgraded too: enjoy your favorite shows or movies on the brand-new 55-inch flat-screen TV, mounted for perfect viewing from the love seat. Jazzing the old place up!

We will be working hard over the winter of 2025/26 to make updates and jazz up the place.

**Exterior**

We are in the process of selecting a fresh new exterior color scheme that is both inviting and visually captivating. A common trend among boutique hotels and motels is to embrace boldness. Please take a look at the images above and share your preference for the blue shade on the left or the right. Simply email us your choice . This past summer, we acquired a tournament-quality corn hole game, available upon request, but we believe it should be set up on Fridays and Saturdays during the peak season for maximum enjoyment. We're also considering the addition of a fire pit to enhance the use of our garden space. Use the email link above to share any other amenities you would like to see.

**Interior**

Many of our smaller rooms currently feature wall-mounted air conditioners and baseboard heating. Starting in November, we will replace this setup in three rooms with all-in-one units that provide both heating and cooling. You may have noticed these units in other rooms, as they perform significantly better for both functions. In addition, we’ll be undertaking extensive painting and replacing a few carpets. Last winter, we installed a vinyl plank floor in room 15, which has proven effective, but after additional research, we think that carpet tiles may be a more suitable option.
